Annabelle Frances Wallis was born on September 5, 1984 in Oxford, England. When she was one and a half, her family moved to Cascais, Portugal, where she was raised on a farm on the outskirts of Lisbon. Although little information is available about her parents, it is known that Annabelle has a brother named Francis Wallis. She is the niece of famous actor Richard Harris and cousin of actors Jared Harris, Damian Harris and Jamie Harris.

The Oxford-born actress went to Saint Dominic’s International School located in Sao Domingos de Rana. As a teenager, she aspired to be an anthropologist and to travel the world. However, her passion for acting won out and she chose to pursue a career in the field. After spending seventeen years in Portugal, Annabelle Wallis returned home to London and decided to tackle her acting career full time.

Career

Before returning to London, Annabelle Wallis had made several Portuguese short films in an attempt to establish herself in the industry. In London, she appeared in a few commercials before deciding to attend drama school.
